How to perform a search

Enter your search terms in the box. The search matches all the terms in all fields by default. To restrict the search, you can choose to search only Publications or Projects from the drop-down menu. You can also add operators – for example, the basic search uses AND by default, so if you enter birds insects, the search looks for birds AND insects. To expand your search, you can use the OR operator – birds OR insects, which will return more results.

Alternatively, you can surround a search term with double-quotes ( " ) to have it treated as a single term. For example, if you enter social psychology, the search would effectively look for social AND psychology (i.e. anything containing the word social as well as the word psychology at some point, not neccessarily related.) To make the search one term, enter "social psychology" (note the surrounding double-quotes) which will only match something containing the word social followed by the word psychology.

To search for data in particular fields (such as Publication Title only), use an Advanced Search option.

A string entered in the basic search will be run on all the following fields if searching the publications (or both) databases:
